I’m Rushan, affectionately known as the sea turtle guy of Singapore. I’m a sea turtle ecologist who uses statistical and spatial methods to figure out what they’re up to in the ocean. Being good in math, maps, and coding has also help tremendously in other projects in different fields of ecology such as socioeconomic ecology, camera trapping, and even environmental impact assessments (you’d be surprised how far statistics gets you!).
